Customize Your Threads Feed: How to See Posts from Accounts You Actually Follow

If you find your Threads feed filled with accounts you don’t actually follow, don’t worry. You can easily change your settings to ensure your feed consists of people you know. Here’s a simple guide:

Table of Contents

Step 1:

Open the Threads app on your phone. If you haven’t signed up yet, you can find it in the Settings of your Instagram app.

Step 2:

Tap on your Threads Profile, located in the bottom left corner of the app menu.

Step 3:

Access Settings by tapping the two lines in the top corner of your Profile page.

Step 4:

In the Settings menu, tap on Notifications (indicated by a bell icon).

Step 5:

Look for the option “Threads and replies” and tap on it.

Step 6:

Adjust your settings to “From people you follow” instead of “Everyone.” You can modify this setting for First threads, Likes, Replies, Mentions, Reposts, and Quotes.

Step 7:

To return to your feed, tap the Home icon.

Congratulations! Your Threads feed will now display posts only from the accounts you follow on Threads. If you ever want to revert to the previous setting, simply follow the same steps and toggle “First threads” back to “Everyone.”
